Okaerinasai (おかえりなさい), it is a Japanese greeting on returning home.

In this project, we explored how a lack of connections between people in 2019 might be remembered by the future. We visualised this investigation through an advert for a fictitious video game, ‘Okaerinasai’, which gives lonely city dwelling women the opportunity to form a virtual connection with a digital, ‘dream’ domestic man. We stood in both positions to look into different aspects of how producers and audiences see this as a manifestation of happiness, while we built up the story.
