On Hybridised Safariby Jingyin Luo & Minrong Chen
On Hybridised Safari is a speculative envisionment on the new components in the assemblages of nature (techno-nature) — the (im)perceptible and (un)predictable “landscape migration” through time and space. The changing assemblages and ecological amnesia challenge our ability to perceive what “pristine” “nature” “organic” are(were). By creating new inter-species in our imagining virtual scope, we invite people to join the visioning phenomenon and to understand the act of migratory sceneries. Within the ongoing environmental change, we hope audiences could reset the baseline for those definitions by visioning an unspoiled nature, this baseline of what nature is, it’s requested for the all generations.
